After ten minutes we where completely wet because of the high humidity. In general we noticed that clothes never get dry, blankets and sheets stay humid always and smell humid always. A reason why we wouldn’t like to stay here forever…

After an intense half an hour uphill walk we got a stunning view to Vila do Abraao (where we stay) and its bay. Just beautiful. We continued down hill and got to the first of two beaches to get to our destiny. Besides two small restaurants, which were closed, a taxi boat waiting for customers and some travelers, nothing but an amazing scenery can be found there. Crossing this beach we had to walk up and down again to get to the next beach called “Pouso” and another almost non-inhabited little beach, it took another half an hour from there to finally arrive to our destiny; Lopes Mendes, known as the most beautiful beach in Brasil and top 10. 

The sand getting thinner and whitter with every step and the sound of the waves louder, and just at the end of the thick jungle path there it stands blue and green and white sand and nothing/no one more.

Lay, play cards and get sun burn, that’s all. On our way back we were suddenly stopped by little gray monkeys who spotted the banana in our bags. I peeled it and gave a little piece to each of them.

After comming back and a shower we headed to a recommended restaurant to eat “Caldeirada” (fish stew). Amazing!
